As surfers, the ocean is our home.

 

And as we paddle through trash on a daily basis, the issue of ocean pollution is undeniable, I mean, it is literally in our faces. So as part of our mission to create ocean activewear that is strong, long-lasting, and worthy of the surf, we also constantly refine our product and business model to make sure that we are also worthy of our oceans.

While we can all switch our straws to stainless steel and give ourselves a pat on the back, single-use plastic straws account for only an estimated 0.3% of plastic waste found in the oceans. They are a tiny drop in the ocean-sized bucket.

The fishing industry is the biggest fish to tackle when it comes to changing the course of ocean pollution, (this is also why we donate 10% profits to fund sustainable fishing projects at the Coral Triangle Center).
